THE CONTEMPORANEITY OF STATIC AND DYNAMIC TIME
2002
Materials: Laser print in a frame with structured glass.

While reading Poul Lübcke’s book Tidsbegrebet (”The Concept of Time”) I wrote a lot of notes which I organized by assigning them to different colours. When I was about to print the notes the printer behaved strangely, causing a great deal of frustration, but eventually I realized that the printer had helped me to depict a transcendental conjunction of the two times—static and dymamic—of which I recently had read so much.
