Materials: Acrylic on canvas.

Here I work with time and ”the religious”. Time is included primary as a time frame in which I may work with each of the twelve paintings included in the series. The process is that I am sitting on a pillow on the floor with the canvases around me in a circle. The canvases form a clock and each of the canvases represents 1 to 12 (AM and PM) respectively. Thus I may, for instance, only work with the first picture between the time frames, 12-1 PM and 12-1 AM. Conversely I may as well, when I get an idea to one of the paintings, stick to the time frame of the emergence of this idea, and paint this idea on the painting pertainting to this time frame. Thematically I am investigating the core of the symbolics of different religions and the possibilities of imagining these symbolics. In the proces I use symbols, forms, and colours from different religions, primarily from buddhism, islam, and christianity.
